Jesus did not come to make bad people good. He came to make dead people alive.
He came to fulfil, not to start over
Everything the prophets had spoken pointed to a Man, and the Man came exactly on schedule.
He came to give life
"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The life He came to give is Zoe — the very life and nature of God.
He came to hand it over
And then, remarkably, He handed the whole ministry of reconciliation to us.
