In Christ Jesus We Are the Real Royalty

The day you received Christ you were born into a royal family. Not a metaphorical one — a real one, with a real inheritance and a real dominion.

Royalty is a nature, not a title

The Bible says you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people. Notice that none of those are things you are working towards. They are things you already are.

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people." — 1 Peter 2:9

Living from the throne, not towards it

Most Christians pray as though they are trying to get God's attention from the outside. But royalty does not beg at the gate of its own palace.

• You have been given a name that is above every name.
• You have been seated together with Christ in heavenly places.
• You have been made an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ.

When this truth settles in your spirit, fear loses its grip, and your words begin to carry the authority they were always meant to carry.
