Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Everything you can see around you today began with words. God spoke, and worlds were framed.
Greatness in the Kingdom is not attained by struggle or by climbing over others; it’s attained by service and by the Word. Jesus said, “Whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister” (Matthew 20:26). The way up is down.
The second thing is your association with the Word. The man who is full of the Word is the man who is full of light, and the man who is full of light cannot be hidden. Take time daily to study, to meditate and to speak the Word over your life.
Greatness, therefore, is not an accident. It’s the product of a deliberate life; a life given to the Word and given to serving others.
Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for the honour of serving in your Kingdom. I choose the path of service and the path of the Word, and I walk in the greatness you have ordained for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
