Dear Pastor Chris, who exactly is the Holy Spirit to the believer, and how should I relate with Him day to day?
The Holy Spirit is not an influence or a feeling. He is a Person, and He came to live in you.
He is your Helper
Jesus called Him parakletos — the One called alongside to help. He teaches, reminds, comforts, guides and strengthens.
He is a Person to know
You do not merely use the Holy Spirit; you fellowship with Him. Talk to Him. Listen. Include Him in your plans before they are made.
He is the power for the assignment
The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you. Nothing you have been asked to do is beyond the One who lives inside you.
